About Studies
Track your study and build lasting knowledge. Map your subjects, come back to them regularly, turn upcoming exams into goals, and get feedback on your class tests. Your learning records live in your Solid Pod as Turtle files; attachments keep their original formats.
Not connected to a pod — paths below are shown relative to <root>. Log in to see live links into your own data.

The app container is <storageRoot>learning/, discovered from your WebID profile (pim:storage) and registered in your type index. One resource per entity, main subject always <#it>. Everything is stored in your pod; the shared progress view is described below.

<root>sessions/<sessionId>.ttlOne resource per analysed test, homework or practice: topics, strengths, weaknesses, next steps, common errors and attachment references.

Shapes & descriptors
Every resource above links to the SHACL node shape that defines it. The same shapes are published as LinkML (class names match the SHACL fragment ids 1:1), and the landing page carries an Application Capability descriptor listing what this app reads and writes.
- SHACL shapespublic/shapes-shacl/*.ttl — validators, sh:name/sh:description
- LinkML shapespublic/shapes-linkml/*.yaml — same model as YAML schema
- Application capability (JSON-LD)Served as
application/ld+json; the same graph is returned for/withAccept: application/ld+json - Capability descriptor (RDFa)Embedded in the landing page footer

Frequently asked questions
Do I need AI to use Studies?
No. You can organise your subjects, set study goals and log learning sessions manually. AI analysis is optional and helps turn class tests and homework into topics and next steps.
What is a Solid Pod?
A Solid Pod is a personal data store you connect to apps with your WebID. Studies saves your learning data there, so you can access it independently of this app.
Who can see my study progress?
You choose who to invite in Settings → Share progress. Studies shares topic names and progress counts with those WebIDs. Test text, findings, AI analysis and attachments are excluded from that shared view.
Can I use my data outside Studies?
Yes. Your study records use RDF in Turtle files, and attachments keep their original file formats. The resource links and published shapes below describe the data so other Solid clients and tools can read it.
